Record Breakers – Summer Reading Challenge

    Launched Saturday 11 July

Description: The Summer Reading Challenge takes place every year and gets three quarters of a million children into libraries to keep up their reading skills and confidence by reading during the summer holiday. You can sign up at your local library, then read six library books of your choice, collecting stickers and other rewards along the way – all FREE. This year the theme is Record Breakers and is linked to Guinness World Records. Join in and have fun exploring the wacky and wonderful records on this year’s collector’s poster – there’s a whole load to discover! If you visit us and join on Saturday 11th, you can also add your pledge to The Guinness World Records record attempt!
    Audience:
The Summer Reading Challenge is aimed at children aged four to eleven.
Free event – just join in at your local library
