Devon and Cornwall Police will be running Recruit Assessment Centres for Police Constables in November 2015 and February 2016
You will be able to register your interest between midday on Monday 27 July 2015 and 23:59 Tuesday 28 July 2015
A huge variety of roles are carried out by Police Constables and it is an incredibly challenging and rewarding job. We are seeking dedicated, positive and empathetic people to fill vacancies throughout Devon and Cornwall. As a Police Constable you would work closely with the community and undertake activities to tackle crime and disorder at a local level.
Devon and Cornwall Police is committed to fairness towards all members of the community. We need people with a range of skills and experiences from a mixture of backgrounds to help us deliver excellence in local policing across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We welcome and encourage applications from all of the diverse groups from within our communities.
We are expecting a high level of applications and as there are limited spaces available this will be a highly competitive process. Successful candidates must be available to be called to assessment centre on either of the following weekends – 21/22 November 2015 or 27/28 February 2016. Those who are unavailable for these dates should not apply. If you become unavailable for these dates throughout the process your application will be withdrawn and you will need to reapply at a later date.
Please note these are the only assessment dates available during this campaign and should you be successful through the shortlisting process but are not allocated a space on either of the above assessment centres, your application will be withdrawn and you will need to reapply for any future campaigns we may run.
Applicants can register and apply from midday on Monday 27 July 2015 until 23:59 Tuesday 28 July 2015. You can register at any time during this period. There are a number of stages to this process so please ensure you familiarise yourself with the recruitment process and make sure you are able to complete each stage within the key dates which can be found within the Police Officer Recruitment Guidance for Applicants Document.
Regrettably we are unable to take calls during this time, therefore all enquires should be by e-mail to the email address below. We aim to respond to all emails within 3 working days during normal office hours, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm –
Before registering please read the Police Officer Recruitment Guidance for Applicants Document carefully and make sure you meet all the essential criteria set out within this document. If you do not meet the criteria then regrettably you will not be considered for the role of Constable on this occasion. It is particularly important that you met the following essential criteria * –
